Interpol issues Red Notice for suspect in Monaco bomb attack
A 39-year-old Ukrainian national is being sought by international authorities after a remote-controlled detonation injured three people.

On Monday, June 29, an explosive device was detonated remotely in the entrance hall of an apartment building in Monaco, injuring three people. The attack, which occurred at approximately 9 PM local time, has triggered a multinational law enforcement operation as authorities work to locate the individual believed to be responsible.
Interpol issued a Red Notice on Friday, July 3, for Anastasiia Berezovska, a 39-year-old Ukrainian woman, identifying her as the primary suspect. She is currently sought on charges of attempted murder, placing an explosive device on a public road with criminal intent, and criminal conspiracy in connection with the incident.
Details surrounding the suspect's movements and methods have since been released by officials managing the case. According to Monaco's deputy public prosecutor, Berezovska carried out the attack while disguised as a man. Following the detonation, she reportedly fled the principality, crossing borders through France and Italy before making her way into Germany.
The investigation has subsequently shifted toward the Frankfurt area. On Thursday, German law enforcement officers searched a rented apartment linked to the suspect. Authorities reported that evidence was seized during the raid, though specific details regarding the materials recovered have not been publicly disclosed.
As of Friday, Berezovska remains at large. Police have circulated a description of the suspect, noting that she is German-speaking and has a distinct tattoo, possibly depicting a snake, on her right arm. The coordinated effort between Monaco authorities, German law enforcement, and Interpol continues as the search operation spans multiple European jurisdictions.
